01

Agreement and operator

These Terms govern use of this website and services offered by AYLA Bidiyah in Wilayat Bidiyah, Sultanate of Oman. By creating an account, sending a booking request, accepting a confirmation, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Mandatory rights granted by Omani law, including consumer rights, are not excluded.

02

Accounts and Google sign-in

  • You must provide accurate information and keep your contact details current.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting access to your device and sign-in method.
  • Google sign-in authenticates your identity through Google; Google services are governed by Google’s own terms and policies.
  • You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend an account to protect guests, AYLA Bidiyah, or the service.
03

Booking requests and confirmation

Submitting the online form creates a booking request only. A stay becomes confirmed after AYLA verifies availability and sends written confirmation, an invoice, or another clear confirmation. Website availability, rates, photos, and descriptions may be corrected before confirmation if a genuine error is identified.

  • The lead guest must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of making the booking.
  • Guest names, contact details, dates, room, and guest counts must be accurate.
  • Room capacity and child limits must not be exceeded without written approval.
  • Special requests are considered but are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
04

Prices, taxes, and payment

Prices are displayed in Omani Rial (OMR). The booking summary identifies the accommodation amount and active taxes or charges. Final amounts are those stated in the confirmation or invoice. Tax treatment, including VAT and applicable tourism charges, follows Omani law and AYLA Bidiyah’s registration status at the time of supply.

  • Payment method, deposit, balance, and due dates will be stated in the confirmation or invoice.
  • A booking may be released if a required payment is not received by the stated deadline.
  • Guests are responsible for approved extras, damage, missing property, or services ordered during the stay.
05

Cancellation, amendment, and no-show

Unless a different written rate condition is shown before confirmation, cancellation is free when received at least 5 full days before check-in. Later cancellation, date reduction, or no-show may be subject to a charge communicated in the booking confirmation or invoice, taking account of services reserved and losses reasonably incurred.

  • Requests must be sent through an official contact channel and are effective when acknowledged by AYLA.
  • Date or room changes depend on availability and may change the rate and taxes.
  • Any refund legally due will be returned through an appropriate method after applicable processing and bank timelines.
  • Nothing in this section limits remedies available where a service is not supplied properly as required by Oman Consumer Protection Law.
06

Check-in, check-out, and identification

Check-in and check-out times, access directions, and arrival instructions will be stated in the booking confirmation. Guests must present valid identification or travel documents when required by law, licensing conditions, security procedures, or competent authorities. Early arrival and late departure require approval and may incur charges.

07

Guest conduct and desert protection

  • Respect staff, other guests, local customs, public order, and the laws of the Sultanate of Oman.
  • Do not bring prohibited items, illegal substances, weapons, hazardous materials, or animals without prior written approval.
  • Smoking, open flames, cooking, and fires are allowed only in designated areas and according to staff safety instructions.
  • Avoid excessive noise, harassment, damage, littering, driving outside approved routes, or disturbance of wildlife and dunes.
  • AYLA Bidiyah may refuse service or require a guest to leave for serious or repeated safety or conduct violations. Charges already incurred and legal rights remain payable or enforceable.
08

Children, supervision, and accessibility

Children remain under the supervision of their parent or responsible adult at all times, particularly around vehicles, dunes, animals, fires, and activities. Tell us before confirmation about mobility, dietary, medical, or accessibility needs so we can explain what can reasonably be provided in a desert environment.

09

Activities, transport, and inherent risks

Desert driving, camel riding, sandboarding, ballooning, walking on dunes, and similar experiences involve inherent risks and may depend on weather, terrain, fitness, age, operator rules, and availability. Guests must follow safety briefings, use required equipment, and disclose relevant health limitations.

  • An activity may be changed, delayed, or cancelled for safety, weather, authority instructions, or operator requirements.
  • Some activities or transfers may be delivered by licensed third parties under their additional safety terms.
  • AYLA does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from proven negligence where Omani law applies.
10

Property, damage, and valuables

Guests are responsible for deliberate, reckless, or negligent damage caused by themselves, their children, visitors, or animals under their control. Reasonable repair, replacement, specialist cleaning, or lost-key costs may be charged with supporting details. Keep valuables secure and notify staff promptly of any loss; liability remains subject to applicable Omani law.

11

Service changes and force majeure

Desert weather, flooding, road conditions, utility interruption, public authority action, epidemic, fire, transport disruption, or other events beyond reasonable control may affect services. AYLA will take reasonable steps to offer a safe alternative, reschedule, credit, or refund for services not supplied, as appropriate to the circumstances and mandatory consumer law.

12

Website use and intellectual property

  • Website content is provided for personal booking and information purposes.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with security, scrape the service excessively, upload malicious content, impersonate others, or use the website unlawfully.
  • AYLA names, designs, photographs, text, and other content may not be commercially copied or reused without permission, except where law allows.
13

Complaints and service resolution

Raise a concern with AYLA Bidiyah as soon as possible so staff have a reasonable opportunity to resolve it during the stay. Formal complaints should include the booking reference, relevant dates, and a clear description and may be sent to aylabidiyah@gmail.com. We aim to respond fairly and without limiting your right to contact the Oman Consumer Protection Authority or another competent authority.

14

Privacy

Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable Omani law. Booking a service authorizes processing necessary to manage the request, provide the stay, comply with law, and protect guests. Separate consent will be sought where legally required, including for marketing or particular processing.

15

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and disputes are subject to the competent Omani authorities and courts after reasonable efforts to resolve the matter amicably. If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue to apply. The version accepted at booking applies to that booking unless a later change is required by law or expressly agreed.

16
